Blizzard has recently announced the preloading schedule for the highly anticipated action-packed role-playing game (RPG), Diablo 4, that will be launching across the world early next month. After the events of the Reaper of Souls expansion in Diablo 3, the game features the return of demoness Lilith and players will be entrusted with the role of saving the realm of Sanctuary from demonic invasion.
Blizzard understands the eager anticipation of fans, and thus, they unveiled the times that Diablo 4 fans can start preloading the game on June 1 and June 2, allowing for ample time to get the PC or console version ready well before the North and South American launch on June 5 and the rest of the world on June 6.
Regardless of the game edition that players own, they can preload the game on both PC and console at 4 PM Pacific/7 PM Eastern (11 PM GMT) on June 1. Meanwhile, fans in the eastern hemisphere can preorder at the following times: June 2 at 12 AM BST, 1 AM CEST, 2 AM TRT, 8 AM KST, 9 AM AEST, and 11 AM NZST.
Notably, players can download and install the game on May 30, which is 48 hours before the official preload time. Diablo 4 will also release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and PC users must download Blizzard’s Battle.net client unless already installed.
The excitement does not end with playing the game alone. Blizzard has laid out a plan that will enable the fans to earn exciting rewards as well. Twitch viewers who watch participating channels for at least three hours per week during the first four weeks following the game’s release can win special prizes. Specifically, the first week is dedicated to the Rogue and Necromancer classes, followed by the Sorcerer in the second week, Druid in third, and Barbarian in the final week. Furthermore, fans can win a unique mount by gifting two Twitch subscriptions and must first link their Blizzard and Twitch accounts to be eligible.
