Sorcerer
The Diablo 4 Sorcerer is a traditional spellcaster. This character harnesses the power of the elements, such as fire, ice, and lightning. Notably, the class also uses the Enchantment mechanic, which involves equipping active skills for a passive boon. Select Sorcerer skills based on your playstyle to create a unique build. Additionally, choose the right talent for the best performance.
Barbarian
The Barbarian is a fan favorite and a staple of the Diablo series. Barbarians are notorious brutes who charge headlong into battle. They yell at the top of their lungs with their warcries and leap down to smash opponents. The class uses the Weapon Arsenal mechanic where their abilities require specific weapons like slicing, bludgeoning, two-handed, and many more. Expertly swapping weapons will allow them to activate and cycle through various attacks.
Rogue
Rogues are your nominal dexterity-based class, agile and nimble, speedily dashing to avoid attacks or strike when least expected. They provide a mix of both melee and ranged expertise, piercing through the armor of enemies. Choose the right specialization and the right Imbuement mechanic to match your playstyle. This character infuses attacks with either poison, cold, or shadow damage.
Necromancer
Necromancers are a fan-favorite character for long-time Diablo fans. They’re Priests of Rathma, and their strengths lie in raising undead minions and golems, making corpses explode, and using the powers of bone and poisons. Select the right Necromancer skills from the Book of the Dead, which does exactly as it sounds; these minions serve as your personal army.
Druid
The Diablo 4 Druid is a hybrid class. On one hand, they have a bit of spellcasting, calling the elements to their aid. On the other hand, they are ferocious beasts, tearing apart enemies that get too close. The Druid has various Spirit Animals to choose that help you match your playstyle.
Diablo 4 is still in its beta stage, so some of the information contained here may change as we get closer to the game’s official launch on June 6. Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t forget to check out our comprehensive Diablo 4 Guide.
