The long awaited release of Diablo 4 is nearly upon us. Much of the story and gameplay of Diablo 4 has already been revealed through several betas and a server slam weekend. However, players who pre-ordered the game will be able to access it earlier than normal.

From March 17th to the 19th, 2023, Diablo 4 fans who pre-ordered the title could access a limited beta test build. The following weekend, from March 24th to the 26th, this beta build of the game was opened up to all interested players, whether they had already purchased Diablo 4 or not. Then, the final beta test arrived on May 12th to 14th as part of a test of Blizzard’s servers and their capability to handle a massive influx of players all at once. Blizzard seems to be taking a similar approach with the actual release date of Diablo 4.

Players who pre-order Diablo 4 will be granted special access to the game five days earlier than others on June 1st, 2023. Pre-ordering the game also comes with the expected array of digital bonuses, but also the ability to pre-load the game a few days before Diablo 4 actually becomes available. This saves a lot of time on release day, giving players more time to max out their character and hunt down Lilith across all the game’s Acts.

The standard edition of the game will be released on June 5th, 2023, on all available platforms including PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Series X|S. It is expected to launch at around 4 p.m. PDT / 6 p.m. EST in the U.S. and at 12 a.m. GMT (midnight) on June 6 in the UK. Players who opt to wait until the game releases will not be able to pre-load it, and therefore, will not be able to play until the game is officially launched.

If you’re a big fan of the ARPG series, you wouldn’t want to miss the significant early access period that comes with pre-ordering Diablo 4. It promises to be a game that you won’t forget anytime soon.
