Diablo 4’s Live-Action Trailer Directed By Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao Still Has Loads of Demons

One of the most anticipated games, Diablo 4, to be released soon has a new big-budget live-action trailer directed by Chloé Zhao, the Oscar-winning director of Nomadland, and co-directed by Kiku Ohe. The trailer features a tour of tragedy, including a child in a burned-out village, and a man mourning his dead horse. Superseding this is a hero from each of the four classes in the game slaying all the demon hordes. Finally, the main antagonist of the game, Lilith, appears at the end of the trailer.

Zhao won her Best Director Academy Award for Nomadland, and since then, she has expanded into more blockbuster films like Marvel’s Eternals. She directed Diablo 4’s live-action trailer, producing an awe-inspiring piece filled with CGI, i.e., Computer Generated Imagery, and an overall cinematic feel.

Release Expectations

Diablo 4 is one of the most awaited games to be released and is set to be released on June 6th, 2023, on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows. The live-action trailer, directed by Chloé Zhao, raised everyone’s expectations of the game, and excitement for its release is at an all-time high!
