When it comes to Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, he often chooses to stay quiet regarding forthcoming MCU projects. But when a new movie is close to its release, Feige is more likely to share small pieces of information regarding what’s in the works. As Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania nears its debut, Feige recently chatted with Entertainment Weekly and touched on what the future holds for Spider-Man, The Marvels, and much more.

In regards to Spider-Man, there was a sense of reservedness given that the corporation hadn’t yet exposed any prospects for more films. Although, Feige mentioned that there was one which was in the process of being constructed. I cannot go into further detail, however I can say that we have a concept and likewise, our authors have now begun crafting it onto paper.

Also this year, Nia DaCosta is bringing us The Marvels featuring Brie Larson as the lead. This sequel to Captain Marvel will also feature Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris playing an older Monica Rambeau (as seen in WandaVision). Viewers are in for a sci-fi space adventure with an enjoyable balance of comic relief.

This is what the entire movie is about – incorporating cosmic elements to it which Marvel comic fans will recognize from the Kree-Skrull war. The story picks up directly after the conclusion of Captain Marvel, but its style and tone is dissimilar. The sight of Monica, Kamala, and Carol together evokes a feeling similar to the first Avengers movie when six of them were together. It is intensely stirring and their associations with one another make it better. Secret Invasion, the upcoming Disney+ series, will be another varied response to Captain Marvel.

A standout quality of Kamala shown in both her show and the movie is comparable to Tom Hollands Peter Parker in Civil War; Feige explains. She finds herself amazed by the fact that she is with these other heroic figures, and that she has gotten to these places. It’s a sentiment that is relatable to many, as we all want to find ourselves in these kinds of scenarios.

In the near future, Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson will be seen starring as Captain America for the first time ever, after his introduction in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Additionally, this movie will hold some special weight, as Harrison Ford will be making his debut in the MCU as the new Thaddeus Ross, following William Hurt’s passing.

Feige has revealed that shooting will shortly begin. Everyone he’s spoken to about Harrison Ford claims it is remarkable to get the chance to talk with the veteran actor and he’s completely embracing the character. It is an important part for Thaddeus Ross as the President of the United States. Air Force One and Clear and Present Danger emphasize Ford’s conflicts with the Commander-in-Chief and the narrative of Captain America and President Ross is truly remarkable.
