HoYoverse’s Honkai: Star Rail livestream, which was highly anticipated by PS5 and PS4 fans, had to be rescheduled due to technical issues just a minute before it was supposed to begin. This left fans on tenterhooks as they were expecting to hear updates on the PS5 and PS4 versions of Honkai: Star Rail. The livestream for English speaking audiences has now been rescheduled for 27th May 2023. The HoYoverse team has apologized for the inconvenience by gifting everyone 100 Stellar Jade. Adding to that, more Stellar Jade will be available to redeem via promo codes during the broadcast.
The Chinese broadcast, which went ahead, announced the expected Silver Wolf and Luocha banners, new companions content, and a login event with the opportunity to earn up to ten free pulls. Unfortunately, there was no mention of Honkai: Star Rail’s PS5 and PS4 releases. Following the issue, online chatter suggests that an earthquake had caused the delay. The rescheduled time for the English language stream is as follows:
- North America: 8:30 pm PDT / 9:30 pm MDT / 10:30 pm CDT / 11:30 pm EDT
- UK/Ireland: 4:30 am BST
- Europe: 5:30 am CEST / 6:30 am EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 12:30 pm JST / 11:30 am AWST / 1:30 pm AEST
Honkai: Star Rail, the turn-based RPG from Genshin Impact developer, HoYoverse, released for PC and smartphones over a month ago. However, there has been no word on the release date for PS5 and PS4 versions yet. The developers host broadcasts every six weeks to reveal the contents of the next major update, and this time, it was Honkai: Star Rail’s turn. The major update, which is due out around 6th June, will feature new banners, events, and content. Fans were hoping to get updates on the release of the PS5 and PS4 versions during the scheduled livestream that had to be rescheduled.
If there is no update on the PS5 and PS4 versions in the next livestream, which is scheduled for 27th May 2023, fans might have to wait until v1.2 later in the year. HoYoverse is unlikely to release the ports outside of a big update. Fans who want to watch the next broadcast can find the schedule below.
- North America: 4:30 am PDT / 5:30 am MDT / 6:30 am CDT / 7:30 am EDT
- UK/Ireland: 12:30 pm BST
- Europe: 1:30 pm CEST / 2:30 pm EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 8:30 pm JST / 7:30 pm AWST / 9:30 pm AEST
