A reliable industry insider has leaked that two much-anticipated games, including one that has not yet been officially announced, will be absent from the PlayStation Showcase event scheduled for May 24, 2021.

The PlayStation Showcase is one of the most awaited events in the gaming industry. Expectations are high that the showcase will feature some PS5 games that have already been announced and some highly-anticipated ones that have yet to be revealed.

Jeff Grubb, the insider who broke the news, has been a reliable source of information in the past. However, it should be noted that he has previously been wrong on a few occasions.

The games that will not be present are the upcoming Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and Ghost of Tsushima 2. These games are highly anticipated as both are sequels to successful titles. The news of their absence has not been commented on by either EA/Bioware or PlayStation/Sucker Punch, the developers of the games.

There is a possibility that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf could be announced at another event this summer, possibly Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest, given BioWare’s past collaborations with Keighley. However, Ghost of Tsushima 2 will likely not be presented anywhere else in the near future. Although the sequel is in development, it is still too early for it to be announced and showcased.

If, for some reason, there are any developments, you can be assured that we will update the story. As for now, the news of these highly-anticipated games not making an appearance at the PlayStation showcase comes as a disappointment to fans hoping to see them soon.
