Publisher Microids and developer Eden Games are bringing Smurfs Kart to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on August 22. This dynamic kart racing game is set in the world of The Smurfs and challenges players to race against each other to determine who the fastest Smurf in town really is. The game has already been available for Switch users since November 15 of last year.
In Smurfs Kart, players can choose their favorite Smurf character and their respective kart that comes with a unique special item. The whole family can go wild on the tracks with 12 playable Smurfs, each with their own kart, while using the right items at the right time to take down their opponents.
The game features 12 tracks inspired by The Smurfs’ universe, including the village, the forest, the dam, the swamps, and Gargamel’s house. Players can use the environment around them to gain an advantage including bonus items, boosts, ramps, destructible boxes, shortcuts, and more.
For those playing solo or with family and friends, up to four players can compete against each other in split-screen local multiplayer game mode. Players can rise to the top and show off their skills with their best time because the game also features an online ranking system using the “Time Challenge” mode.
Moreover, players can unlock original bonuses race after race for winning and competing, and try to collect them all in their personal albums.
Smurfs Kart for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series is definitely something worth looking forward to on August 22.
