Blizzard, the developers of the upcoming action RPG series Diablo 4, have lauded the efforts of an avid player who managed to solo an entire world boss. In a recent server slam event organized by the game developers to test the capabilities of the servers, the player, named wudijo, achieved the extraordinary feat during a beta test.

Wudijo attempted to take down Ashava, one of the world bosses available in the game during the beta test, and succeeded in an incredible solo kill. Ashava the Pestilent is a level 25 area and had a spawning period of three hours. The maximum level a player could achieve during the test was only level 20, making the solo kill an extraordinary feat.

The player posted a clip from the game on their YouTube channel, which included a comment from the Blizzard developers who talked about the Ashava fight, specifically mentioning their expectations for the player to solo it. The solo kill caught the attention of Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher and even the President of Blizzard Mike Ybarra who congratulated the player’s achievement on Twitter.

“Congrats to wudijo on his Hardcore solo kill of Ashava on World Tier 2!” tweeted Adam Fletcher.

Mike Ybarra cheekily suggested a buff for Ashava in his congratulatory tweet.

The game is set to launch on June 6, 2023. Players will be able to fight against Ashava and other world bosses when it fully releases in a few weeks.
